1. Controllers

The data processing on agenturscout.ch is the joint responsibility of Beyondweb GmbH, Suurstoffi 16, 6343 Rotkreuz, and Stardrop GmbH, Bahnhofstrasse 21, 6300 Zug. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

2. What data we process

• Visiting the website: IP address, date and time, browser and device. We need this data to operate the website and keep it secure.
• Agency profiles: Company details, contact persons, texts, images and services. Some profiles are created from publicly available sources, namely the commercial register (ZEFIX), the UID register and the agencies' websites. As an agency, you can claim, correct or have your profile deleted.
• Requests: When you request a quote via AgenturScout, we process the details you provide (name, email, phone, company, project description) and forward them to suitable agencies.
• User account and payments: Login data, including when you sign in with Google, as well as billing and subscription data.

3. Purpose

We process the data to operate the directory, pass requests on to agencies, manage user accounts and subscriptions, send you service emails, improve the website and keep it secure.

4. Service providers and transfers abroad

For these purposes, we use external service providers:

• Hosting: Hetzner (Germany)
• Image and file storage: Hetzner Object Storage (Germany)
• Website security and fast delivery: Cloudflare (USA)
• Website analytics: Plausible Analytics (EU)
• Partner programme: Tolt (USA)
• Email delivery: Resend (USA)
• Payment processing: Polar (USA)
• Sign in with Google: Google (USA)
• Internal notification of new requests (name, email, phone): Slack (USA)

Some of these service providers are located outside Switzerland, in the EU and in the USA. The EU provides an adequate level of data protection. For transfers to the USA, we rely on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.

5. Cookies

We use cookies that are required for logging in. If you visit AgenturScout via a partner link, Tolt sets a cookie that is stored for 30 days. This lets us attribute the referral to the partner. Our website analytics with Plausible work without cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.

6. Retention

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose or required by law.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data and to object to its processing. To do so, write to us at hello@agenturscout.ch. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8. Changes

We may update this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this page applies.
